About Me
I love Oregon…its fascinating past, it’s energetic present and it’s optimistic future. The towering fir trees, thick ferns, precious rivers, the natural habitats that surround our neighborhoods, all make our Oregon a very special home. I’ve lived all over the country from Wash DC to California but I came back because this is the best place on the planet to live!
Addressing the City Club of Portland in 1938, renowned urban historian and planning advocate Lewis Mumford offered a thought-provoking challenge to all Oregonians when he said:
I have seen nothing so tempting as a home for man and woman as the Oregon country. You have here a basis for civilization on its highest scale, and I am going to ask you a question you may not like. Are you good enough to have this country in your possession?”
Are we good enough caretakers of our Oregon? There are many people who have the passion and desire to answer “yes!” to Mr. Mumford. But we all need to work together. I enjoy studying and sharing ways ordinary citizens and influential leaders are working to take better care of our Oregon by living smaller, smarter, and greener.
I also love being a Real Estate Broker, and here’s what a few of my clients have to say about working with me.
